Masters-handicraftsmen of Bashkortostan took part in the XIV exhibition-fair «Ladiya. Spring Fantasy -2013», organised in Moscow by the Association «Folk Artistic Craft of Russia». Works of Bashkir masters at the largest fair of Russia and the near abroad were exposed at the uniform stand by "Miras" charitable fund called to develop traditional crafts of Bashkiria.
About 200 works of eight masters of Ufa were brought to the fair from the republic. The main emphasis at the exposition was made on felt products traditional for Bashkortostan.
“At our stand dresses, jackets, headdresses, scarves, footwear, ornaments, design mittens are presented. Also we brought author's dolls, toys and design products from ceramics, papier-mache, fabric,” Ilshat Imangulov, the general director of "Miras" charitable fund informs.
As a whole at the exhibition there were crafts which in a good situation, and those being on the verge of extinction. Among rare species of craft art are the Romanov and Abashev Toy, Gusev Crystal and others.
Besides, design and ethnic clothes fashion shows, and also performance of folklore teams took place within the limits of "Ladiya".
