It is possible to raise prestige of occupations in housing and public utilities sphere having provided employees with habitation, the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov considers.
“First of all it concerns blue-collar occupations — yard keepers, plumbers, mechanics,” the city mayor underlined. “We made a critical decision to support them with habitation.”
As Irek Yalalov marked the level of their wages was low, therefore Ufa townspeople did not apply for these positions.
Under the decision of the city administration, those having need of housing will be given habitation which after a certain term of work will be transferred to their ownership.
The head of the city charged to develop a complex of measures for increasing a status of the given occupations.
