In Bashkiria from March 11 till March 17, weather forecasters predict large temperature swings and unstable weather pattern.
“In the beginning of the week wet-snow precipitation is expected,” Anna Kozaeva, the head of Hydrometeorological Centre of the Bashkir Directorate on Hydrometeorology and Environment Monitoring explained. “A probability of snow drifts remains: amounts of precipitation will be intensive. However blizzards which dominated in the territory of Bashkiria on the eve of March, 8, are not expected. Rains are possible towards the end of the week.
Meteorologists expect the present spring incoming in the end of March.
“Incoming of spring is characterised by transition of daily average temperature over the zero mark,” Anna Kozaeva said. “Then active snow melting starts. The spring temperature will meet to average long-term indicators, however cold spells are possible.”
