The deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the vice-president of Paralympic Committee of Russia Rima Batalova took part in the visiting session of the Duma Committee on physical training, sports and youth affairs in Sochi. Within the limits of the working trip the round-table conference «On legislative support and preparation progress for XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games — 2014 in the city of Sochi» was held.
Representatives of the Krasnodar territory and Sochi leadership, relevant ministries and departments of Russia, sports federations, public organisations and deputies of Committee of the State Duma on physical training, sports and youth affairs took part in the session.
“It is important to provide absolutely necessary conditions of accessible environment for Paralympic athletes, disabled persons and physically challenged people at all sports objects in Sochi and Krasnodar territory. Constant improvement of level of conditions for trainings of our sportsmen is the obligatory requirement of modern preparation, and our Committee will continue to develop this direction, of course,” Rima Batalova shared with Bashinform News Agency.
