Rustem Khamitov: «Payments to families which adopted a disabled child will be increased to 508 thousand rbl.»
In 2013 in Bashkortostan, a lump sum benefit of 508 thousand rbl. will be paid to the families which adopted a child with disabilities. It was declared on Wednesday, March 6, by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, while handing over the medal «Parent glory» to mothers having many children on the eve of the International Women's Day. 56 women who are bringing up five and more children received the awards.
As the press-service of the head of region informs, the President of Bashkortostan gave a commission to the Government RB to make corresponding amendments to the current statutory acts to begin payments of such grants to foster families as soon as possible.
“The state main task is an increase in number of citizens, good demographic situation. In this terms 2012 appeared quite favourable to us —almost 60 thousand children were born in the republic,” Rustem Khamitov said at the awarding ceremony.
The head of the republic marked that the problem of waiting lists to kindergartens was also being solved. Thus, for the last year almost 14,5 thousand places were put into operation in preschool centres of Bashkortostan.
During the awarding Louise Niyazgulova, the elementary school teacher from Kuzhanak village of Zianchurinsky region addressed to the President of Bashkortostan. She suggested supporting large families which adopted children with disabilities.
The President of Bashkortostan supported the initiative of the mother having many children.
“The families adopting healthy children receive the maternity capital in the amount of 400 thousand rbl. from the republican budget. From now we increase this sum to 508 thousand rbl. for those who adopts disabled children,” Rustem Khamitov said.
Also the President RB underlined that love and sincere relation to children were more important than any money.
