Electronic auctions saved 4,3 billion rbl. to Bashkortostan

Thanks to the electronic auctions the economy of budgetary funds in 2012 reached 4,3 billion rbl. in Bashkortostan. Before introduction of electronic trade principles, that is before January 1, 2011, it amounted to one billion rbl. Such data was given at a briefing organised within the limits of the «Electronic Trade: Challenges of the Eurasian Integration» international forum, by the chairman of State Committee on Public Contracts RB Sergey Novikov.

“From the moment of transition to electronic procedure the economy of republican budgetary funds grew approximately in 3,5-4 times. It is one of indicators showing the necessity of electronic trade,” Sergey Novikov marked.

In his opinion, a competition level, or quantity of suppliers participating in the auctions is not less important. From the moment of electronic auctions introduction this indicator increased in Bashkortostan five times. For today 2500 suppliers from our republic are registered on electronic platforms.

“As a whole across Russia it is already millions of suppliers united in one information field allowing to search and choose suppliers. All this, certainly, promotes economic development, both the country, and its regions,” the chairman of the State Committee on Public Contracts of Bashkortostan considers.
