On February 27, at the international forum in Ufa «Electronic Trade: Challenges of the Eurasian Integration» the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov declared the readiness to share the experience of information technologies introduction accumulated in the republic.
Among large projects already operating in the region Rustem Khamitov named «Electronic Government» and «Electronic Reception Department», which already made a good showing.
As the Rustem Khamitov underlined, the republic achieved good results in the government order system. It should be mentioned that following the results of 2012 Bashkortostan took the second place in Russia in the rating of the guaranteed transparency of purchases.
According to the President, investors pay great attention to it. It was possible to reach such results, owing to the complex work on electronic communication development in purchasing activity, introduction of electronic document circulation at placing of orders, online projects on suppliers crediting, and also development of partner relations with representatives of federal electronic platforms.
“Besides public sector the corporate segment of the IT market actively develops in the republic. Here, rates of information technologies introduction, certainly, advance the public sector,” Rustem Khamitov marked. “Such large companies as "Bashneft", "Bashkirenergo", UMPO, Beloretsky Metal Works, "Soda" enterprise work productively on this platform. The sectors of privatisation and rent, sale of non-liquid products of organisations, sale of property of companies-bankrupts develop in the sphere of electronic trade.”
Thus the importance of electronic business development essentially amplifies in the conditions of Russia’s joining the WTO. IT service allows considerably cutting down expenses on financial and trading operations, bringing together participants of the market and the most important thing —providing transparency and real competition.
“I hope that the forum in Ufa will become a prestigious platform to discuss important issues of the information technologies market,” Rustem Khamitov marked.
The Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia Alexander Rybakov holds the similar point of view.
As he said, an increase in the market of online sales reached in Russia almost 30 percent following the results of 2012. However «we should consider that we started this counting from the extremely low level non-comparable to many countries».
Electronic trade, according to participants of the forum, should be qualified as rather perspective and attractive sphere for innovatively focused business.
