The Government of Bashkortostan and the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have signed the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation, assuming creation of conditions for organisation in the republic of innovative products manufacture on the basis of high technologies created by the Siberian scientists.
The document was signed by Vice-premier Dmitry Sharonov and the Vice-president of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vasily Fomin.
Ten main directions of cooperation are defined: from manufacture of multilayered carbon nanotubes and additives to bitumen to hi-tech composite materials and superhard soldering for drilling tools.
Available scientific and technological reserves of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences were considered at definig interaction directions; demand for innovative production among republican enterprises; availability of qualified personnel in the region, technological and raw-material base, the official website of the Government of Bashkortostan informs.
