Irshat Fakhritdinov observed over presidential elections in Armenia

The delegation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation took part in the elections of the President of Armenia as observers from the CIS. Irshat Fakhritdinov, the deputy from Bashkortostan was on the delegation.

“The acting head of Armenia Serge Sargsyan in the first round ran away with the election. He received nearly  58,64 of votes. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Raffi Ovanesyan is on the second place with 36,75 percent of votes. Other five candidates had from 2,2 to 0,24 percent,” the deputy commented on results of elections.

According to Irshat Fakhritdinov, the election campaign and voting process passed according to the law on elections.
