Today, on February 5, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov is in a working trip over the Sterlitamaksky region. He is accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture RB Nikolay Kovalenko.
In Big Aksakovo village in the "Druzhba" agricultural enterprise Rustem Khamitov attended a dairy complex, examined a platform for cattle fattening operation. The director of the enterprise Alexander Brazhnikov informed that in 2011 they purchased agricultural machinery for the sum of more than 18 million rbl., in 2012 for these purposes it was spent more than 9,5 million rbl. Speaking about losses due to the drought of the last years, the director estimated the damage as almost 6 million rbl.
The head of the republic visited a dairy-commodity farm of the enterprise. 196 cows are kept here; the livestock is increased every year. "Druzhba" agricultural enterprise participates in the program of "500 farms" and it develops manufacture on the allocated funds, conducts reconstruction of premises.
Rustem Khamitov examined also and a calf house where 160 young cattle of six-month age are kept.
The "Druzhba" agricultural enterprise applies modern and proven production methods. Thus, for example, so-called Canadian, cold fattening method is mastered here. As a result daily average gain in weight of young cattle make now fr om one kg to 1 kg 200 gram wh ereas earlier daily average gain in weight of bull-calves did not exceed 800-900 gram, and cow calves — 600-700 gram. And if earlier 10 persons were occupied in cattle fattening operations now there are only three persons.
