In 2013 it is planned to spend forest regeneration works over the area of 10,4 thousand hectares in Bashkortostan. From them 8 thousand hectares are allocated for artificial forest regeneration, 700 thousand hectares for combined forest regeneration, 1700 thousand hectares for natural one. The forest regeneration projects are already developed and confirmed for all plots, the head of the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB Aibulat Gainullin informs.
During the autumn of 2012 soil preparation was spent for forest plantation on the area of 5232 hectares for carrying out of forest cultivation works in the forthcoming spring in the republic. More than 1200 hectares from this volume are accounted for the share of leaseholders.
Due to the fact that leaseholders did not execute their obligations on soil preparation for forest plantation, this kind of works is not completely executed in Bashkortostan — only by 65 %.
It should be mentioned that in 2012 forest regeneration was performed in the republic on the area of 10468 hectares that makes 101 % to the established volume.
