Number of farms having the milk conformity certificate decreases in Bashkiria
In 2012 more than 500 agricultural farms and individual businessmen received the declaration on produced raw milk and dairy products in Bashkortostan. The period of validity of allowing document is one year.
According to the republican veterinary laboratory, last year, according to Technical Regulations on Milk and Dairy Products, more than 13 thousand tests of milk were spent.
On the basis of the test report of a product made in republican veterinary laboratory, «Bashkir Centre of Certification and Examination» LLC issues declarations to farms and individual businessmen on raw milk and dairy products produced by them.
“Unfortunately, the number of milk tests decrease gradually in the republic from year to year. Thus, if in 2009 the declaration of milk conformity were received by 856 farms and individual businessmen of the republic, in 2010-2012 this annual indicator made maximum 560,” Azamat Bukanov, deputy director of «Bashkir research-and-production veterinary laboratory» ascertains. “Today about one third of milk and dairy products manufacturers work without such certificate of conformity in the republic. Thus many agricultural producers have already expired periods of validity of their declarations. However, they do not hurry up to submit milk for testing, as there is no strict control and corresponding requirements in milk receiving stations and dairy complexes to manufacturers of raw milk.
In 2013 farms of Aurgazinsky, Iglinsky, Chekmagushevsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Belebeevsky, Bizhbulyaksky, Mechetlinsky and Ufa regions were among the first to deliver milk for testing.
