Essential decrease of export volumes— by 41,1 % —in Bashkortostan following the results of 2012 is fixed by the Bashkortostan Customs. Data are given on turnover of goods registered at customs posts. Import, on the contrary, showed growth by 18,8 %.
As a whole the foreign trade turnover in Bashkortostan developed at the level of 2352,1 million dollars. In comparison with the indicator of 2011, it reduced to 30,2 %. Export prevails over import: 69,1 % against 30,9 %, or 1626,5 million dollars against 725,6 million dollars.
As Bashkortostan customs explains, falling of export volumes— is due to procedural reasons. «Practically from the beginning of year registering of fuel and energy products deliveries is within the competence of the Central Power Sector Customs,” the press-secretary of Bashkortostan Customs Igor Meshkov says. “Besides, registering of goods turnover in the Customs union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus changed. It caused some reduction of export figures, but practically did not affect an import indicator”.
Export-import transactions in the region of Bashkortostan customs activity were carried out by 668 senders/ recipients of goods. For a year their number increased by 15.
The prevailing share of the foreign trade turnover — 79,4 % is accounted for two customs posts: Ufa (45,2 %) and Sterlitamak (34,2 %).
