In Bashkortostan growth of milk producing ability of cattle is marked. As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB marks, at the moment daily yield from each cow makes on average 8,8 kg of milk — by 300 gram more than the last year.
Thus, for the first half of January, 2013 on average 129 kg of milk were received from each cow. It is by 4 kg more than for the similar period of 2012. Among the reasons of favourable tendency the Ministry of Agriculture names preparation of good forages in sufficient volume, improvement of genetic potential of animals, improvement of professional skills of cattle breeders.
The republican target program "500 farms" implementation started in spring of 2012 became an impulse for dairy cattle breeding development. The farms participating in it modernised dairy farms, essentially updated milk livestock, created good conditions for keeping and feeding of animals.
Under forecasts, at preservation of such favourable conditions an average yield per cow will be not less than 3850 kg in Bashkortostan to the end of 2013.
