Russian air companies intend to make the lists of hoodlums, threatening safety of flights, and such lists will be opened for wide public. The authors of the idea believe that promulgation of such names can help to reduce the number of violations of the law. In the future air companies intend to get the right not to sell air tickets to hoodlums.
The question concerning such “black lists” was again raised at the end of 2012, when drunken passengers, waiting for the flight “Moscow-Hurghada” about 12 hours, picked up a fight during boarding. In 2010 because of drunken passengers the airliner, flying the route “Moscow-Habana”, had to make an emergency landing in Iceland.
At present time the penalty for wild behavior onboard amounts to 1,5 thousand rubles, while the number of air hoodlums grows every year. Some air companies even raise the question concerning the necessity to hire special guards because stewardesses have neither authorities nor desire to pacify the unruly passengers.
