Russian Government’s grant council made the decision to prolong the governmental grant for winners of the first open grant contest of the most successful scientific investigations for the term of two years. This list includes the grant, won by Bashkir State University in 2010, the University’s press service reports.
The center of micro- and nano-scaled dynamics of disperse system under the guidance of the Professor Iskander Akhatov was established in December 2010 within the frames of this grant on the base of Bashkir State University’s physical-technical institute and the faculty of mathematics and IT.
Prolongation of the grant means that scientists of Bashkir State University have successfully coped with the problems posed and the work of the center is admitted actual, the leadership of Bashkir State University considers.
The governmental grant council made this decision, taking the results of the international expertise of incoming applications into account.
In order to win the contest the scientists had to provide 100% co-financing of their projects. In real figures one can talk about the sum about 30 million rubles per year, because the state intends to invest this very sum in every preliminary chosen laboratory.
