“Version of Bashkortostan” joined Top 3 of the most cited printed editions RB

The company “Medialogy” prepared the rating of media-resources RB for the III quarter of 2012.

News agency “Bashinform” still holds the upper line of Top 20 of the most cited Republican mass-media with the citation index 62,5. The newspaper “Version of Bashkortostan”, published by “Bashinform”, is also included in the rating with the citation index 0,99. Our newspaper holds the third place among printed mass-media after “Komsomolskaya Pravda” (6,49) and “MK in Bashkortostan” (1,82). “Evening Ufa” (0,63) and “Republic of Bashkortostan” (0,25) go behind.

The rating is composed on the base of “Medialogy” system, including about 10800 the most influential Russian-speaking sources: TV, radio, magazines, news agencies, internet mass-media and blogs.

The investigation was performed within the period between July and September 2012, “Medialogy” reported.

Citation index is a media index, taking the number of references to information sources in other mass-media and consequence of the source, which published this reference, into account. The citation index is calculated on the base of mathematical-linguistic analysis of the texts, taken from open sources. The indices of attendance, circulation or audience aren’t taken into account.
