Subsidising Procedure of milk producers is confirmed in Russia
The Russian Government confirmed Procedure of granting and distribution of subsidies fr om the federal budget to compensate a part of expenses of agricultural producers per 1 litre of the sold commodity milk. The document provides the differentiated approach to subsidising of the premium and first class milk.
Subsidising of commodity milk is introduced within the limits of the state program of agriculture development till 2020, coming into force in 2013.
To increase efficient usage of budgetary funds the Procedure provides allocation of subsidies for the premium and first class milk in the ratio 3:1.
According to experts, such approach will allow supporting the most effective producers of milk and will promote mobilisation of other producers to increase sanitary-and-hygienic level of production, storage and transportation of raw milk, to increase its quality and safety indicators.
Meanwhile, practice of subsidies allocation for compensation of a part of agricultural producers’ expenses on the milk sold by them is used in the republic for the second year already, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB marks. And Bashkortostan became the first region in the country wh ere subsidising of milk producers was started.
Thus, in 2011 it was allocated 645 million roubles from the republican budget on these purposes, in 2012 — 650 million roubles. In the following year of 2013 subsidising of milk producers from the regional budget will be continued.
