The Cooperation Program between the Government of Byelorussia and the Government of Bashkortostan Republic of the Russian Federation for 2013-2015 was signed on Monday in Ufa by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Minister of Architecture and Construction of Belarus Anatoly Nichkasov.
The document assumes teamwork of two republics on variety of priority directions. Among them there is organisation of soda manufacture in Belarus, delivery, and in the long term and assemblage at the Bashkir production facilities of special equipment for agrarian complex and municipal services, projects in the field of cattle breeding and plant growing, development of housing construction, transport mechanical engineering.
“Last year the trade volume between Belarus and Bashkortostan reached almost one and a half billion dollars – a huge sum,” the President of Republic Rustem Khamitov said. “Belarus is on the second place on total amount of goods turnover of Bashkortostan with a share over 10 %, and from the CIS countries it is on the first place with 44 %. Following the results of this year export made more than one billion dollars, that is by 30 % exceeds the last year’s indicator. Import is 10 times less, though, it reached 150 million dollars, growth is about 7-8 %.”
The "Soda" project is of special interest for Belarus. This day the delegation visited Sterlitamak, in particular, JSC "Soda".
“This is that branch which is not presented in Byelorussia. We have agreed on co-production, on creation of a similar enterprise in Belarus,” Anatoly Nichkasov told journalists about intentions of the Belarus party. “It will be not only the Belarus enterprise — it will be one uniform large corporation, an industrial complex – Belarus-Bashkir one.”
According to the President RB, Bashkortostan needs the Belarus building technologies. “I was in Minsk, I saw that they build with good quality – both roads, buildings, and constructions. And everything is cheap enough”, Rustem Khamitov marked.
Interest to technologies in the field of agriculture is also very high. Crop yield in Belarus exceeded 30 centners per hectare this year. Stably high crops are result of competent application of agricultural technologies in which Bashkortostan is interested also.
