Students of Republican institutes may study at US Universities
International Research and Exchange Board (IREX) announced recruitment of participants of international student exchange program Global UGRAD.
UGRAD program is a program of US State Dept agency of educational and cultural programs and gives students an opportunity to study at one of US universities or colleges in the course of one school year.
Students of the 1st-the 4th courses may take part in the program and after returning students must have at least one semester before getting higher education diplomas. All participants are chosen with the help of an open contest.
The list of specialties include book-keeping, agriculture, anthropology, biology, business, chemistry, IT, criminal law, economics, education, engineering, management of natural resources, geology, management in sphere of service and tourism, international relations, journalism, mass communications, jurisprudence, physics, political science, psychology, sociology, town planning and American studies. Other specialties can be considered too.
In the course of the first semester students will study volunteer work and during the second one they may pass professional probation periods.
For participation it is necessary to submit an application to e-mail or post address with the following documents: two signed recommendations in English (can be given by pedagogues, deans, school teachers and chiefs), three essays in English to the themes, introduced in the questionnaire on the site. The agreement to processing of personal data and the list of subjects with marks in English are necessary too.
The deadline of filing is January 14, 2013.
