In 2013 it is planned to carry out commodity interventions to stabilise the prices for food grain and flour.
As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, for the last five months grain cost in Bashkortostan grew by 25-60 percent. The flour rose in price by 20 percent. As consequence the bread rose in price. Since July, the selling prices for bread increased by 10-20 percent, consumer — by 15 percent. The most essential leap in prices was marked in August. As of December 3, the average consumer price of rye bread, rye-wheaten bread made 29 roubles 68 copecks.
The rise in bread prices is cuased not only by grain appreciation, but also growth of expenses for auxiliary raw materials, utilities, petroleum products.
In Bashkortostan for today more than one million tons of grain are available. Stocks of the state intervention fund make 86,3 thousand tons, including 81,2 thousand of bread grain. The grain of intervention fund is sold cheaper that makes other participants of the market to reduce the prices too.
