The concert of old music «Baroque – a rare visitor in Russia» will be held in the second building of the Ahmet-Zaki Validi’s National Library of Bashkortostan Republic on December 5.
Arthur Sitnikov, the counter-tenor, the winner of the international, All-Russia and republican competitions will give a performance under harpsichord accompaniment. Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Handel, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s seldom executed vocal compositions will sound within the walls of the library. Also Inna Fomenko (flute), the winner of the international and All-Russia competitions and vocalist Emiliya Karabaeva (soprano) will take part in the concert.
The concert starts at 19 o'clock. The entrance is unticketed.
