The editor-in-chief of "Agidel" magazine Amir Aminev is awarded the Big Literary Award of Russia. He received it for the collection of novels and stories "China-town". The representative of our republic receives such prestigious award for the first time.
Amir Aminev is the known Bashkir writer, the author of several books: «Birch Leaf», «Youth Melodies», "Whirlpool", "Gate". He translated into the Bashkir language and issued three collections of works by the known Russian writer, the native of Bashkiria Anatoly Genatulin and also Andrey Platonov, Valentin Rasputin, Vasily Belov’s stories.
“This is my first book in Russian,” Amir Aminev says on the pages of today's issue of the "Bashkortostan Republic" newspaper. “It included three stories: "China-town", "Tankman" and "Usman Stones", and also eight stories. I tried to pay attention in them to the most topical for today problems, first of all social ones.”
