The project of privatisation program of the state property of Bashkortostan Republic for 2013 was presented to the President Rustem Khamitov at the session of the Government RB on November 29. The specified plan includes changes which were discussed at the previous session on this topic in October. Then the final decision was not taken, and the President charged to complete the list of the state property recommended to privatisation.
“We need resources, we need money means, and sale of state property, especially ones which do not have significant volumes for today could be one of good sources of our budget replenishment,” Rustem Khamitov underlined. “As to the enterprises which have our controlling interest, there too it is necessary to consider how to increase capitalisation: may be, by enterprises merger or consortia creation. We do not have many such enterprises, may be at least one-two.”
The President urged the members of the Government apply creative and thoughtful approach to privatisation processes, having obliged to explain people why the republic undertakes such steps.
“Any changes in the register of state enterprises should bring first of all benefit to people — regarding salary increase, construction of new objects and so on,” Rustem Khamitov, once again underlined having declared that the state property privatisation should be held openly.
