Rustem Khamitov has taken part in a meeting, devoted to national security, in Kazan
On November 26 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the meeting, devoted to problems of national security and held by Russian Security Council in Kazan. Problems of protection of regional information systems were under discussion there.
It was mentioned at the meeting that the Council for informational security functioned under the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district.
“But those trivial approaches we used hitherto turned out to be inefficient. These approaches fail to meet those challenges and threats we are facing today” – the Plenipotentiary of the President RF in Volga federal district Michael Babich said. According to him there are the regions in Volga federal district – Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Mordvinia, Udmurtia and Samara region – where the whole institutions were established specially for reliable protection of information. These institutions protect official sites from unauthorized hacking and analyze the best world, technical and innovational tendencies in this sphere for further implementation.
The public affairs service of the President RB reports along with the governors of Volga zone regions representatives of Ministry for internal affairs, Emergencies Ministry, FSS, Federal Drug Circulation Control Service, Ministry for communications take part in this two-day meeting.
