On Monday, November 19, a signing of cooperation memorandum between Bashkortostan and the American diversified industrial technological Honeywell International Corporation took place in Ufa.
“I hope that our cooperation will be rather successful. We need new enterprises, new manufactures and we will make everything to make your work in our republic comfortable as much as possible,” the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov said at the meeting with representatives of Honeywell International Corporation.
In turn, the president of Honeywell International Corporation in Russia, the countries of the Central Asia and Near East Norman Gilsdorf added that «the corporation considers signing of the memorandum of cooperation as the first stage for further teamwork».
According to Norman Gilsdorf, a special working group is created which «in details will work over offers for both parties under specific projects».
One of such projects is connected with Ufa JSC "Hydraulics", and concerns manufacture and repair of auxiliary power-units for aircraft engines.
“We now consider possibility of partnership with "Hydraulics" to develop our joint project. I think that we quickly enough, within 6-12 months will be defined with other projects too,” Norman Gilsdorf informed journalists.
As the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov marked at the meeting with representatives of the American corporation, «for us it is a new challenge to work with such large company, as Honeywell International».
Among offered by the head of republic directions for possible cooperation are petrochemical, chemical, gas branches, mechanical engineering, and also creation of a radio-electronic cluster.
