Scientists of Bashkir State Agrarian University examine experience of Israeli colleagues in struggle with desert invasion

Pedagogues from Bashkir State Agrarian University Rail Khisamov and Natalie Zotova are taking part in the international seminar in Russian language “Struggle with desert invasion: agricultural development, forestation and rational management of water and land resources” in Israel.

Press service of the Ministry for agriculture RB reports participation of Bashkir scientists in this international seminar has become possible due to the grant, allocated by the Israeli Embassy in Russian Federation.

The main themes, offered at the seminar, are: melioration and irrigation, policy and strategy of economy in arid and semiarid regions, stable development of modern high-tech agriculture in arid zones, the use of non-traditional water resources and their preservation, desalination, treatment and recycling of sewage waters.

We’d like to note that only four specialists from Russia were invited to the seminar, including two scientists from Bashkortostan.
