The All-Russian public organisation for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship «OPORA Russia» was headed by Alexander Brechalov – the first vice-president of the organisation. Sergey Borisov ahead of schedule left the post of the President «OPORA Russia», but remained the Chairman of the Board of Guardians, it is said in the organisation’s communique.
Delegates from 62 regional branches, including the Bashkir regional branch took part in the re-election of the leader at the extraordinary VI congress of «OPORA Russia». At the congress delegates also confirmed amendments to the organisation’s charter.
The branches of the organisation operate in 81 regions of the Russian Federation. 143 branch unions, associations and guilds form the noncommercial partnership "OPORA".
«Small and medium business should play more significant role in formation of such important macroeconomic indicator as gross domestic product», the President of the country Vladimir Putin declared at the meeting with the management of the organisation of businessmen «OPORA Russia».
