The project “Compatriots”, initiated by “United Russia” regional division, received high response in Bashkortostan. Thus, the President RB Rustem Khamitov has highly estimated the project, introducing it to agrarians during the flower ceremony for the best Republican agricultural workers, held in the Republic House today, November 8.
“United Russia announced the beginning of a new project with very good name – “Compatriots” – the President reported – “The idea is excellent – to choose real heroes of our time among people, living next door, and to honor all those , who, in opinion of the majority, made weighty contribution to everyday life of their region, the republic and the whole country. The names of real heroes – pedagogues, teachers and doctors have to be known to everybody. We have to make the history of every district and every town of our Republic, because history is created by concrete people, our compatriots. I am sure that patriotism begins with love in our small motherland. The national choice within the frames of this project will show who is alive in thankful memory of people and who we are proud now of. Thereby the relationship between generations will be strengthened and this is the task of primary importance”.
Rustem Khamitov called the project “very timely and important” and promised all-sided support.
The project was presented by the head of “United Russia” regional executive committee Albert Miftakhov during the press conference in the news agency “Bashinform” not long ago. As he stated, today our compatriots feel the shortage of pride for ourselves and our country and with the help of this initiative “United Russia” wants to raise patriotic spirits in our society first of all. Within the frames of the project citizens of Bashkiria will call all those, whom they consider the pride of their settlement. Further the list of the worthiest representatives of the republic will be composed. The list will be published by mass-media in spring 2013.
