Creative contest “They must live” started in Bashkortostan

Republican ecological contest “They must live”, initiated by the natural park “Muradymovskoe Canyon”, national park “Bashkiria”, state natural reserve “Shulgan-Tash” and by the directorate for specially protected natural territories RB, started in Bashkortostan.

The goal of the contest is formation of ecological culture and active stand in life towards the problem of reduction of species diversity of flora and fauna in Bashkortostan and Russia and popularization of activity of the biospheric reserve “Bashkir Ural” and the natural park “Muradymovskoe Canyon”.

Pupils and students, working adults and pensioners are welcomed to participation. The contest is held in seven nominations: painting, graphic painting, sculpture, photography, decorative and applied arts, essays and poetry.

All works of the participants should touch on the theme of ecology and morality and have to be created on the base of personal impressions from introduction to nature, flora and fauna of the natural park “Muradymovskoe Canyon” and from meetings with rare and disappearing species on the specially protected natural territories.

Applications and works are accepted till December 14, 2012, to the address: Republic of Bashkortostan, Kugarchinski region, the village Mrakovo, Z. Biisheva Street, 91, (department of ecological enlightenment) with the note “They must live”.
