Elimination stage of the 11th all-Russian TV contest “TEFI-Region” is over in Rostov-on-Don. 102 programs fr om 65 Russian cities struggled for permits to the finals this year. The contest was held to the direction “Enlightener and entertaining TV”.
The documentary of journalists from TV-company “Bashkortostan” Alina Suleimanova and Ernest Khairullin has become one of the third best works in the nomination “Social and political program”. The documentary is called “From the point “A” to the point “B”.
“This is the film about destinies of four women, struggling for health of their children, suffering severe diseases. These women don’t stop the half-way and go to the last frontier and at the final stage they nonetheless win this struggle for life” – Alina Suleimanova tells.
The final stage of the contest will take place on November 27-30 in Kazan, wh ere the jury, consisting of the members of Russian TV Academy and leaders of Russian national TV-channels, has to determine the winner of the main award – bronze Orpheus.
