More than 135 thousand pensioners in Bashkiria will become the receivers of federal social additional payments to their pensions beginning from January 1, 2013. More than 14,5 thousand will receive such payments for the first time, the head of Russian Pension Fund in Bashkortostan Foat Khantimerov reported.
Such payments are paid to non-working pensioners since January 1, 2010, and the size of the payment for every pensioner is individual and depends on to what extent the sum of his/her material security, including pensions and other regional payments, is lower than the official subsistence wage.
In 2013 the amount of the subsistence wage for pensioners is set at the rate of 5690 rubles instead of 5220 in 2012. Those citizens, whose pension ns are lower than the subsistence wage, have the right for federal additional payments.
