The solemn ceremony of winners rewarding and a gala concert took place at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The participants from Seoul (the South Korea) Kim Boram and the vocalist from Yekaterinburg Olga Peshkova were recognised the best among vocalists. They became owners of the special prize «For the best execution of Nariman Sabitov’s compositions». Also "gold" was won by the fifth year student of Ufa State Academy of Arts Dina Husaenova and the soloist of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre Arthur Kaipkulov. Besides, Arthur was awarded a special prize «For the best execution of a national song». The third place was divided by Yan Leishe (Ufa) and Gleb Kim (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and Dilyara Idrisova (Ufa).
Among violinists the first award and the special prize «For the best execution of Nariman Sabitov’s compositions» was given to Meruert Karmenova (Moscow), the second place Valeriya Sidorenko (Moscow), the third – Sergey Chesnokov (Moscow). The violinist from Rostov-on-Don Evelina Baglarova (4th place) became the owner of the prize «For the best execution of Nariman Sabitov’s compositions».
The special prize «For the best execution of Nariman Sabitov’s compositions» among participants-pianists was awarded to Michael Dolgov (Moscow) and Roman Kosyakov (Moscow). The diploma of the third degree was given to Andrey Kudryakov (Samara), Ruslan Vorotnikov was awarded "silver". Roman Kosyakov from Moscow won the first place.
The jury also marked concertmasters. Special awards were given to Yuriy Selitsky (Rostov-on-Don), Tatyana Fedoseyeva (Moscow), Gulshat Karimova (Ufa), Elena Muhamedina (Ufa), Irina Subcheva (Yekaterinburg) and Lyudmila Burova (Moscow).
Owners of the first place received the award of 80 thousand roubles, the second – 60 thousand, the third place – 40 thousand roubles.
It should be reminded that the VIII Nariman Sabitov’s Open Competition of Musicians was held in Ufa from October 24 till October 30. More than 50 musicians from cities of Russia and abroad took part in it. And the first musical competition by the name of the glorified Bashkir composer took place in 1995.
