Within the limits of Japan delegation official visit to Bashkortostan Republic the meeting of the head of directorship of the International Children's Games-2013 Sergey Stepanov and the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Russian Federation Tikahito Harada took place at the Congress Hall.
The official invitation of Japan cities for participation in the VI Winter International Children's Games which will take place in the capital of Bashkortostan in 2013 became an overall objective of the negotiations.
“Participation of Japan cities will add staginess to the International Children's Games, will promote dialogue between young sportsmen and strengthen mutual relations between Bashkortostan Republic and Japan in the sphere of children-youthful sports,” head of directorship of ICG Sergey Stepanov marked. “In the beginning of September employees of the directorship sent official invitations to Japan cities. We wait answer from them and we will be glad to welcome their sportsmen in our city.”
Mister Tikahito Harada familiarised himself with the history of the Winter International Children's Games, and also conditions of the competitions organisation in the city of Ufa. The Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Japan in Russia expressed an interest of his country to participate in these competitions.
Following the results of the meeting a missive addressed to the Olympic Committee of Japan with the invitation to participate in the VI Winter ICG-2013 was prepared and handed over to the Ambassador Tikahito Harada. Also information materials about Ufa, Bashkortostan and the VI Winter International Games of 2013 were given to the visitors of the capital.
