Bashkortostan and Japan are intended to increase essentially mutual goods turnover
The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in the Russian Federation Tikahito Harada named chemical industry, development of infrastructure and manufacture of cars accessories among the most perspective directions of cooperation between Japan and Bashkortostan. He announced it on October 29, in Ufa at the conference on trade and economic and investment cooperation between Japan and Bashkortostan Republic.
According to the Prime minister of Government RB – the head of Government Office RB Ilshat Tazhitdinov, despite activization during last years of mutual relations, the potential of cooperation between Japan and Bashkortostan is realised now not to the full.
Currently on volume of goods turnover of 45 million US dollars Japan with share of 0,4 percent occupies the 29th place among the foreign trade partners of Bashkortostan. Thus dynamics of mutual cooperation is positive: following the results of seven months the foreign trade turnover between the parties made 26,4 million US dollars.
Among the large joint projects, Ilshat Tazhitdinov named the agreement signed in October, 2011 between the companies Gazprom Neftehim Salavat and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry on licensing and designing of acrylic acid complex, choosing of Belzan factory as the potential supplier of accessories for Mitsubishi Motors Company in Kaluga. Also the Japanese party expressed the interest in creation of joint venture with Neftekamsk factory "Autoplast" on manufacture of polymeric products for car industry.
On the first day of the present forum the Japanese delegation will visit JSC "UMPO" and Petrochemical Refining Institute RB.
On Tuesday, October 30, the meeting of the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in RF Tikahito Harada with the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Hamitov will take place.
Besides, on the last day of the conference representatives of Japan delegation will visit Ufa transformer works.
