author: Galiya Nabieva

A “big Polish dictation” will be held in Ufa on October 28. It is organized by the center for Polish culture and enlightenment RB jointly with the chair of general and comparative-historical linguistics of the Bashkir State University, philological faculty of Birsk social-pedagogical academy and by the National Polish Sunday school by A. Penkevich.

Grammatical correctness tests have already become traditional for the Congress of Poles of Russia, the chairman of the center for Polish culture and enlightenment “Revival” Marina Sadykova reported. This is one of the actions, perpetuating the memory of Christine Boheneck – the founder and inspirer of the all-Polish dictation, Vice-Marshal of Poland Senate, ceased in the air crash near Smolensk in 2010.

The first dictation has taken place in 1987 in the town of Kato-wise and since 1993 all citizens of Poland write this dictation: pupils, students, teachers, journalists, politicians, people of art, sportsmen etc.

The subject-matter of the forthcoming dictation in Ufa will be “The city of Krakow is the ancient capital of Poland”.
