Opening of the III interregional ecological forum and of the XVII specialized exhibition “Ural Ecology-Industrial Security-2012” will take place on October 8 at Ufa Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”.
“Various thematic scientific-practical conferences, seminars and discussions are planned within the frames of the eco-forum. Their participants will discuss problems of waste recycling, industrial security at dangerous objects, water preparation and water consumption. The forum will be completed with summing up of the totals of the international ecological action “Save and Preserve”. Its most active participants will be rewarded” – press-secretary of the Ministry for ecology and nature management RB Nina Nikandrova reported.
The contest “Ecology-XXI Century” will traditionally take place within the frames of the forum, where the jury has to determine the best work, devoted to realization of the program for eco-security in the Republic.
The Ministry for ecology and nature management RB reports the Republic of Bashkortostan is considered one of the most industrially developed regions of Russia, so the problems of wild life conservation stand in the list of top problems.
At present time enterprises and organizations of more than 200 branches of industry are located on the territory of the Republic and their activity negatively affects the nature. For instance, the volume of atmospheric emissions from stationary sources has exceeded 406 thousand tons in 2011.
Local enterprises have to take part in solution of ecological problems first of all through modernization of their productions and the best scientific-technical achievements in sphere of wild life conservation will be demonstrated for them within the frames of the exhibition and the eco-forum.
About 100 enterprises and companies from more than 30 Russian cities take part in the specialized exhibition every year. More than 2 thousand people have taken part in the forum in 2011.
The forum and the exhibition “Ural Ecology-Industrial Security-2012” will be over on October 10.
