Average republican prices for foodstuff following the results of September were counted up in Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. The price data from four cities were taken as a basis: Ufa, Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk and Sibai.
Thus, the average price for white bread was established at 29 roubles 95 copecks in the republic. Thus, if in Neftekamsk the white loaf costs 26 roubles 23 copecks then inhabitants of Sterlitamak can buy it almost at 10 roubles more – 35 roubles 36 copecks. Cucumbers in Sterlitamak are also the most expensive – 44 roubles 91 copeck per kg: in Ufa, for example, they are sold at 36 roubles four copecks. And the potatoes in the capital are the cheapest: 12 roubles 97 copecks per kg at average republican price of 14 roubles 28 copecks. But the beef is the most expensive in Ufa in comparison with other republican regions – 250 roubles 45 copecks. The same can be said about butter – 217 roubles 94 copecks per kg at average price of 212 roubles 14 copecks. And margarine in the capital is the most expensive – 79 roubles 98 copecks while in Sibai it costs 61 rouble 56 copecks: it is the lowest price in the republic. Also Sibai residents can boast of the most accessible cottage cheese at the price of 125 roubles 81 copecks per kg at its average price is 149 roubles 78 copecks. In total the minimum list of foodstuff includes 33 positions.
