A church in honor of Holy Matron of Moscow will be erected in Ufa
A new church in honor of Holy Matron of Moscow will be erected in one of Ufa micro-districts, press service of Ufa Eparchy reports. This construction will be unique for Ufa as it is designed in traditions of architecture of ancient Russian towns Vladimir and Suzdal and that is uncharacteristic for the capital RB, where the majority of local churches are designed in Byzantine traditions. The project is already approved by Metropolitan Nikon.
The church, crowned with a belfry, will be almost 40 meters at height and will be able to seat up to 600 people at the same time. A two-three-storied multifunctional block, able to seat 300 people, will be located in the northern part of the church. Here a baptismal room, meant for 150 people, a workshop and a Sunday 60-seat school with library will be located. A 34-seat parking will be located nearby.
The foundation of the future church will be laid already this year and the object will be put into exploitation approximately in two years.
