author: Elmira Sabirova

Employees of the computer philology laboratory of the Bashkir State University finished placement of the fourth volume of folklore archive on their site. The volume contains the materials of the folklore expedition in Khaibullinsli region of Bashkiria, held in 1968. The volume includes 199 texts (238 pages). The total volume of this electronic scientific edition makes up 458 texts for today, press service of the Bashkir State University reports.

During 50 years employees of the Bashkir State University and other Republican institutes were busy with collection of folklore materials in different regions of Bashkiria. Many materials were published in the collection “Bashkir folk art” but specialists failed to publish all materials, kept in numerous archives before. The electronic scientific edition of folklore funds is called to fill this gap.

One can see this edition on the site of the computer philology laboratory of the Bashkir State University. This division was opened under the faculty of Bashkir philology and journalism one year ago and the site started working in December 2011.
