Since the beginning of the year the gross milk yield in the Republic made up almost 1,3 million tons. Press service of Ministry of agriculture RB reports 478716 tons fall on the share of agricultural enterprises and farmers and the rest is obtained in auxiliary farmings. 509128 tons have been sold out in Bashkortostan since January 2012.
The average milk yield per one cow in the Republic is equal to 10,4kg daily. For eight months of 2012 2841kg of milk was obtained from every cow – 265kg more than for the same period of time in 2011. 11 Bashkir regions overcame the three-thousandth milk yield barrier and, for example, in Chekmagushevski region – the leader in milk productivity- 4162kg of milk was obtained from one cow.
