Bashkortostan and Germany begin cooperation in sphere of agriculture

General Director of German agricultural community (DLG) Richard Grandke arrived in Bashkortostan on a business visit. Press service of the Ministry of agriculture RB reports the guests visited state farms “Alexeevski”, “Roshinski” and agricultural company “Artemis”. The guest from Germany was also interested in agricultural education in the Republic. The first pro-rector of the Bashkir State Agrarian University M-r Mars Farshadov told him about projects, developed by the University today. It was stated in the course of the meeting that cooperation with the German agricultural community, working in the market for 127 years, would be able to make its contribution to training of agricultural specialists for Republican agricultural sphere.

Richard Grandke in his turn expressed readiness for joint work and mentioned that Bashkortostan also had some aspects, useful for learning.

The representative of the agricultural community discussed possibilities of introduction of new technologies in agriculture with the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB – the Minister of agriculture RB Ernst Isaev.

Richard Grandke has expressed readiness to help Bashkortostan in establishment of an innovational center of agrarian technologies, in holding seminars for local agrarians and in elaboration of a single efficient line “from science to production”.

At present time, when Russia officially joined WTO, solid experience of the agricultural community from Germany turns out to be useful as never before. This non-commercial organization numbers 24 thousand members and is considered the leader in agricultural and food sectors in sphere of assistance and spreading of scientific-technical progress, exchange of experience and knowledge with practitioners and experts, holding specialized exhibitions, testing of agricultural equipment, foods etc.
