Swimmers added one more golden medal into the piggy box of Bashkortostan and Russia at the Paralympic Games-2012 in London. Michael Zimin has become a champion in 100-meter breaststroke heat in SB12 class. He has finished the distance with a new world record – 1.07,05, leaving Vladimir Izotov from Byelorussia by 0,23 sec and Maxim Veraksa by 0,74 sec behind.
This is already the 12th golden medal of representatives RB (the seventh in swimming) plus five silver medals.
