Construction of highway in staff of international transport corridor “Europe-Eastern China” started in Bashkiria
Construction of a toll highway sector “Bavly-Kumertau” — a component part of the international transport corridor “Europe-Eastern China” — started today in Ermekeevsky region of Bashkiria.
The Vice-Premier of the Government RB Rauf Nugumanov and the chairman of the state corporation “Russian Motorways” Sergey Kelbach have taken part in the solemn ceremony.
“Today we give a start to very serious object, which is of strategic importance for us, since this is the first highway in Bashkiria, which is constructed with the use of private investments” – Rauf Nugumanov said.
The first Vice-Premier of the Government RB thanked the head of “Russian Motorways” that the sector of the international transport corridor “Europe-Eastern China” runs through the territory of Bashkortostan because several variants on laying this sector through other Russian regions were on the stage of consideration before.
“I am happy that the highway runs through Bashkortostan and this is a merit of the President RB Rustem Khamitov. The highway is called to widen communication between Bashkir towns and villages, to activate interregional traffic and thereby will assist to opening of new workplaces” – Sergey Kelbach stated.
Besides, construction of the highway should push further development of the transport infrastructure and will raise investment attractiveness of the adjacent territories.
The total extent of the highway in Bashkortostan is equal to 265 kilometers and it will cross several regions of the Republic – Ermekeevsky, Alsheevsky, Bizbuliaksky, Miakinsky, Sterlibashevsky, Fedorovsky, Meleuzovsky and Kyurgazinsky.
The junction with the federal highway “Ufa-Orenburg” will become the exit point of the highway “Bavly-Kumertau”.
