Next spring in Ufa the next seminar on journalism problems will be held, and also courses for young journalists with participation of colleagues from the neighboring regions will be organised in Bashkortostan. The chairman of the Union of Journalists RB Arthur Davletbakov told the Bashinform News Agency about it summing up the results of the two-day workshop for mass-media workers «Trade union strengthening: experience of Russia and Europe» which took place in the capital of the republic.
Three secretaries of the Union of Journalists of Russia took part in it — Nadezhda Azhgihina, Larissa Shamikova, Leonid Rechitsky, and also the secretary general of Croatia Trade Union of Journalists Marinka Bolkovach-Berkovich.
According to Arthur Davletbakov, Marinka Bolkovach-Berkovich, having studied the situation in the market of printing mass-media of Bashkiria, positively estimated the state support rendered till now to newspapers and magazines of the republic. In Croatia there is no such support for a long time already, all editions are private, and journalists have a lot of difficulties with protection of their rights.
“Communicating with colleagues, I have come to conclusion — we should appreciate what we have, and should aspire to develop in keeping with modern requirements,” Arthur Davletbakov said.
He also reported that 30 delegates from Bashkortostan will go to the 10th anniversary congress of the Union of journalists of Russia which will be held in spring 2013. It will be the largest regional delegation there.
