On August 17, in Lipetsk area the V congress of "Young Guard of United Russia» will be held. Bashkortostan regional branch of «Young Guard» will be represented by two delegates at the congress — the chief of the Regional headquarters of "Young Guard» Konstantin Kanunnikov and the chairman of Youth Public Chamber at the State Assembly – Kurultay RB Nikolay Samoilenko.
It is expected that more than one thousand people will take part in the congress, including representatives of friendly to the «Young Guard» public organisations and movements fr om the countries of near and far abroad. In the congress agenda there is acceptance of redraft Charter of the «Young Guard»; elections of the administrative board of the organisation — the Central Staff, Coordination and Public Councils, and also the Supervisory-revision committee; approval of «Young Guards» federal projects which will be realised all over the country after the congress.
From June 26 till July 15 on the «Young Guard» website a page of forum.mger2020.ru was started wh ere every registered user could make offers concerning various directions of "Young Guard» work. According to organizers of the congress, more than 17 amendments into the «Young Guard» Charter were made, more than 50 nominees to organisation governing bodies were offered, and also more than 70 various projects applying for the federal status were brought by the Internet users. The head of Bashkortostan regional branch «Young Guard of United Russia» (MGER) Konstantin Kanunnikov is among three candidates on the post of MGER co-ordinator in Volga Federal District (along with the present co-ordinator Denis Fadeev and the leader of Saratov branch of MGER Vsevolod Hatsenko).
