The VI Winter International Children's Games (from February 26 till March 3, 2013) in Ufa becomes the main world event of children's sports in the near future. The International Children's Games (ICG) are spent since 1968, and for the first time in Russia they will take place in the capital of Bashkortostan.
The Directorship on organisation and carrying out of the Games-2013 started its work in Ufa.
ICG-2013 Directorship is headed by the Chairman of the Physical Culture and Sports Committee of Ufa Administration Sergey Stepanov.
Plans of organizational work in various directions are developed by the Directorship: welcoming visitors of the city and sportsmen, accommodation and catering for sportsmen and representatives of delegations, volunteers activity, coverage of the Games in mass-media and other matters.
“From October 7 till October 10, our city will be visited by the secretary general of Committee of the International Children's Games Richard Smith and the person in charge for carrying out of winter sports Heather Schneider“, the head of the Directorship Sergey Stepanov marked. “Visitors will examine sports objects, plans and schedules of work of ICG Directorship. And since August 15, a dispatch of invitations to all participants of the VI Winter International Children's Games will begin”.
