Attempts to find reserves to raise the salary of workers in Bashkortostan
In Bashkortostan additional reserves for wages growth of workers in the real economy and establishments of public sector are raised.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development RB, in 2011 the monthly average wages grew in nominal terms by 12,3 %, in real terms by 3 %, in January-May, 2012 – accordingly by 14,5 % and 10,7 %.
The monthly average wages of workers of public sector increased by 18 % last year. In the first half of the current year they increased by 19,6 % in relation to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The sizes of wage rates of the I category (salaries) of workers increased since January 1, this year in 1,1517 times at rise in prices by 6,4 %, and since July 1, in 1,0675 times at rise in prices by 2,6 %.
Thereupon it is very important to realise the Agreement on Minimum Wages in Bashkortostan Republic. It should be mentioned that since January 1, 2011 the size of the minimum salary is established in the region as 5500 roubles.
As the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population RB informs, joint efforts of authorities and legal entities on protection of social and labour rights and legitimate interests of workers give positive results.
In the first half of this year the number of companies-infringers decreased to 7 % (64 from 869 organisations). Measures of public prosecutor's response were taken to heads of 44 entities. In 27 organisations the revealed infringements were eliminated during the checks, the republican Ministry of Labour reports.
