Etno-group "Argamak" takes part in the festival of modern ethnic music «The Spirit of Tengri» which takes place in Kazakhstan, the website «Tengrinews» informs.
The first stage of competition — the television one has been already started. On air of local television channel STV competitive video is shown which televiewers can estimate on the official page in the social network «Facebook».
Selection of winners will be done in three stages: estimation by audience, charts of favourites and festival of ethnic music. The exact date of a final concert is not defined yet, it is planned to be held in May, 2013.
Organizers expect to unite creativity of musicians which play folk music in modern style within the limits of the festival.
Applications for participation were submitted by «Sainho Namchylak» (Republic Tyva), "Hangaj" (Inner Mongolia) groups. Kazakhstan will be represented in the project by "Rocksonaki", «Magic of Nomads», "Aldaspan", singer Asem with the project "Tengri" and others. The festival «The Spirit of Tengri» is a multi-cultural project directed on demonstration of creative traditions of the Central-Asian region. The festival urged to develop and popularise ethnic cultural traditions, to promote a cultural exchange and uniting of the countries-participants.
Musicians of Etno-group "Argamak" are winners of many international, All-Russia, republican competitions and festivals. Special attention musicians pay to popularisation of the Bashkir national cultural heritage and musical instruments: kurai, dumbyra, kubyz, kyl-kubyz.
