Volume of bank deposits increased by 10 % for a half-year in Bashkortostan

90 credit organisations, including 11 republican ones operate now in Bashkortostan. For the first half of this year four new credit organisations entered the regional market of banking services and two left the market. The quantity of bank divisions in the republican territory increased fr om the beginning of 2012 by 49 units and reached 1434. According to total number of bank divisions operating in the region, Bashkortostan takes the second place in the Volga Federal District and the fifth — in the Russian Federation.

The chairman of the National Bank RB Rustem Mardanov reported such data at today's meeting. Thus rates of growth of the majority of indicators surpass average indictors over Russia and basically positive tendencies are marked.

As of July 1, current year consolidated assets of credit organisations operating in the territory of the republic made 399,4 billion roubles. Their equity capital increased for a half-year by 10 % and made 8,4 billion roubles.

The total volume of credits granted for January-June, made 298,8 billion roubles, that is 14,7 % more than for the similar period of the last year. The outstanding debt under credits in comparison with the beginning of this year grew by 12,8 % and as of July 1, made 407,5 billion roubles.

As Rustem Mardanov marked, essential reduction of overdue debts under the granted credits became the positive tendency. The outstanding overdue debt decreased from the beginning of 2012 to 215,8 million roubles or by 1,3 %.

As to investment activity for the present in Bashkortostan per one inhabitant 34,3 thousand roubles of total amount of investments fall wh ereas in the neighboring Tatarstan – 81 thousand roubles.

For January-June the volume of deposits increased by 10 %, and their general size reached 177,5 billion roubles. According to the press-service growth is observed both under rouble deposits, and under currency deposits.
